This week’s we are exploring the New Moon in Sagittarius, the final New Moon of 2025 , a potent cosmic threshold that doesn’t just close a chapter, but opens the door to how you step into 2026.

Sagittarius is a fire sign ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion, faith, wisdom and possibility. And with this New Moon landing at 28° Sagittarius, right at the edge of the sign, this isn’t subtle energy. It’s the culmination of a lesson, asking not just what you’ve learned this year, but what you’re going to do with it.

In this episode, you’ll be guided to:

  • Understand the fire + Jupiter energy of this New Moon and how it may show up for you
  • Reconnect with long-held dreams (or new ones quietly stirring beneath the surface)
  • Explore what Sagittarius energy looks like in balance and out of balance
  • Reflect on your values and whether your time, money and energy truly reflect them
  • Learn why this New Moon isn’t just about intention-setting, but aligned action
  • Work with the body wisdom of Sagittarius (hips, thighs, legs & liver support)
  • Receive powerful journaling prompts to build self-trust without external validation

We also share details about our New Moon Ceremony (Friday 19th December, 10am, pay-what-you-feel), where you can drop out of your head, into your body, and consciously plant seeds for the year ahead held in warm, welcoming community.

✨ This is an episode for you if you feel:

  • Ready to dream bigger again
  • Called to live with more meaning, faith and courage
  • Curious about how to bridge 2025 into 2026 with clarity and intention
  • Needing a reminder that you don’t need a sign you can trust yourself

So we can make this world a better place for us all to go and grab a cup of ceremonial grade cacao and join us as we explore what moves through us, that which is divinely led, so we can all move from fear to walls, more faith. Thank you so much for being here with us today. Welcome to this week's episode where we are talking about the New Moon in Sagittarius, which is the last New Moon of 2025, and it's taking us into 2026. This feels really significant. And the new Moon occurs on December the 20th in London at 1:43 AM at 12:43 PM in Sydney, and it's a day earlier on Friday, the 19th of December in New York at 8:43 PM and Sagittarius is a fire sign, which is ruled by Jupiter. So let's go into those details a little bit. So first of all. Let's remind ourselves what a fire sign means. So it's along with Leo and Aries. These fire signs signify things like passion, energy, inspiration. You know, we can imagine that when we think of fire and it represents a kind of dynamic and action orientated, and I'd say a courageous approach to life. If I think about some of my friends who are the fire signs. They're usually full of enthusiasm. They're usually fairly outgoing, even if they're introverts, they're usually comfortable with social gatherings. And they're often actually lean into leadership, usually creativity, and they often really enjoy adventure. So even though you may not be fire sign because the new moon is in a fire sign, you may feel some of those energies, but it can also manifest as an impulsiveness or a quick temper as well, which thinking about fire, I'm sure you can imagine. And what does it mean when it says it's ruled by Jupiter? Well, Jupiter primarily represents growth, luck, abundance, wisdom, philosophy, and higher learning in astrology. So it is acting as a planet of expansion, a planet of opportunity, and of good fortune. So it symbolizes faith. Purpose and spiritual understanding. So it helps to guide us to explore bigger questions and broaden our horizons as well. It's associated with travel, law, religion, and sometimes wealth. So it encourages optimism. So this particular New Moon is at 28 degrees Sagittarius, so the maximum that the moon can sit in is at 29 degrees. So what it means is when we're at 28 degrees, we are right at the end of Sagittarius. So it's like. The last big Sagittarius energy before we move into the next sign, which will be Capricorn, and that's then gonna be a bit more serious and a bit more grounded. So this is quite a potent energy. It's like we're reaching the end of the lesson. So not only have we like learn the lesson, but what are we actually going to do with that knowledge? So a new moon in Sagittarius is about making time for a fresh start. It's about communication and broadening perspectives. So Sagittarius invites you to explore new ideas and untouched dreams, so I'd love to invite you just to pause for a moment there and just to. Not think too hard, but let it arise from within you. Is there any long held dreams or maybe new dreams that are almost long forgotten or just starting to bubble away? But there may be some blocks in the way. You may not think you've got the time, the money, they're expertise, their support, whatever it may be, but can you allow yourself just for a moment to remember how to dream and what is actually important to you When we consider dreams often rather than the actual goal that we want to achieve, it's the feeling that we think we will get from achieving that goal. So what feeling will be your greatest desire to embody? So let's have a little look at the in balance, Sagittarius energy and the outer balance. So when Sagittarius is in balance it's inspired, it's knowledge seeking. It's joyful. It's purposeful, it's expansive. It's optimistic, encouraging, dedicated, and adventurous. So while I mention the word adventurous, Sarah is actually Sagittarius and she absolutely loves to travel. That's why I'm recording this podcast episode for you on this New Moon is she is currently in India, so do check out our stories at Holistic Health Collective UK or maybe even her own personal ones at Balanced Body Wellness uk, where I'm sure she's gonna be sharing what she's got up to in her stories or on posts, and I think this is actually a really good time to let ourselves dream about what kind of adventure or travel we may be interested in in the new year so we can allow ourselves to dream about travel. It may be across the world, it may be across the uk. And equally, depending on your situation at the moment, you may, you know, you may have a young family, you may have commitments with work or with aging parents. It might be that you can't travel as such, but you can still have adventure. So it might be that you wanna try the three Peaks challenge across the uk. Perhaps you want to learn how to sail in the new year, or perhaps you want to go back to art classes. So what kind of adventure would you love to invite back into your life or to invite him for the first time? And if you would like to consider some travel or some travel with us. Sarah's actually gonna be running a trip next year for the first time to Italy. That's actually her spiritual home as she refers to it, and has been many, many times to the cinque terre, which means five fishing villages, it is a beautiful mix there of sea and forest, and lots of hiking and lots of good food, Italian good food, and she's gonna be running that retreat with her husband Jonathan, who's a really accomplished athlete, and so we'll be leading some of the hikes. That's one thing to check out. You can do that on her website, which is balanced body wellness uk.com. We haven't yet got the finer details in place, but usually we have a trip to Glastonbury every year. We may be having a trip to Norfolk this year as well for a women's retreats. And then of course we have our silent retreat, which is actually full in January, but we will be having it again in May, and that's in Tonbridge in Kent. That in a way is adventurous.'cause it might be pushing you quite far outside of your normal comfort zone. It might even be travel for you depending where you live and how far you usually travel in the uk. But that could come under that travel as well. But it's definitely, fulfilling that kind of knowledge seeking, part of Sagittarius, the purposeful part, the expansive part as well. Okay, let's have a little look at the outta balance energies. So I like looking at these'cause the moon can highlight it for you and then it can just have a look at, well, we need to bring a bit more balance back into our life. So you may see this in yourself, or you may see it in others, but the out of balance energies is a little bit reckless, can come across as rude or patronizing, angry, argumentative, overconfident, flaky, and hypercritical. So the horoscope symbol or the glymph of Sagittarius is the archer. So that symbol is depicted by an arrow pointing upwards. So Sagittarius is always aiming for a higher spiritual ideal, and philosophy in life, in addition to embodying an optimistic attitude. So the symbol of the arrow pointing upwards expresses the wisdom and honesty of this philosophical zodiac sign. So new moons are a great time for to set new intentions, and this moon particularly is not a time to sit back and just visualize. It's actually a time to aim your arrow, shoot and have faith in your aim. So this is a really good moon to not just set an intention, but actually set an action step related to that intention as well. So maybe a first baby step. So this new Moon is where we widen the lens of what we believe to be possible for us to live. So often we can get quite caught up in the doing or the mundane. And I think my experience as we get older is it can feel harder to take more risks because it feels like you've got more to lose. But we need to keep reaching for the life that we desire and it is where we plant the seeds of intention to land that these new visions become possible for ourselves. So this new Moon reminds us that the bigger we dream, the more life seems to meet us in our bigness. The more we say yes to living, the more life says yes to us. Okay, let's have a little talk about the Sagittarius body part. So we have the thighs and the legs, so this is a really good time. To do some exercise. We are obviously in the winter season now, almost in the winter season, late autumn, beginning of winter, and so you know the exercise, it could be some beautiful squats or lunges at home, but equally, getting out for a nice hike or walk whilst you're wrapped up warm could be really good at this time of year. It is still important to spend time outdoors and connected to nature, but we just need to make sure that we are staying warm whilst we actually do that. So wrapping up with a scarf around your neck, something around your kidneys to keep them warm, like a kidney belt or an extra layer or a long top. And inside the Healing Portal, which was formerly known as the Holistic Health Circle, so our online women's health membership, we've actually got a yoga session this month, which is related very much to the thighs and the legs, and actually supporting those parts of the body. Sagittarius is also related to the liver, and that definitely makes me think about Christmas and Christmas drinks and fats and that the impact of fats on the liver, the strain that we put our liver under in the west and being kind to our liver. So that may be pulling back on those bad fats, you know, cutting down on the crisps or the cakes or the biscuits, or cutting down on the alcohol. I think with alcohol, for me, I'm at a point in my life where it's just really checking in if you want it. And so are you just drinking to fit in or because it seems socially acceptable, or are you having a drink because you actually want it? Just checking in with that with yourself. And if you need a little bit more support than artichoke, or milk thistle is absolutely wonderful for the liver. I. If we think about the thighs and the legs and actually the hips as well, this is where our sacral and root chakras rest and most of our emotions get stored up. Particularly for us women, we tend to bury them all down into that pelvic bowl. So it is actually to loosen up and create flow. So some lovely just figures of eights, hip rolls, um, you know, some Shakira moves in your kitchen could be really beneficial for those areas of the bodies under this moon. So I wanna go back to setting intentions and the big picture under this new moon and have a little journaling prompt or reflection prompt for you, which is what would it look like to believe in myself without needing a sign from the universe? So what would it look like to trust in yourself without needing any external form of validation, whether that's an Oracle card, whether that's a sign, a symbol. Not to say any of those things are wrong, but how can you cultivate that inner trust and that inner knowing? And another one for you as we're reflecting, is if you was. To write a list of your values. So you know, your values could include health or it might include, money abundance might include, your family, your home. Is there any values that you feel that have changed this year? So maybe you've added some on, or maybe you've released some. I definitely think as we get older, our values do change slightly. So, your value at some point may have had be to have a big, beautiful family home, and maybe now you're realizing that you actually need less. So have any of your values changed this year? And is there any values on your list where you want to spend more time on them? So I think a really classic one is that you may say that you value your health, but if you actually have a look at, you know, where you spend your money or where you spend your time, if you was to look at your calendar, if. Would those things reflect your value? So are you spending a lot of time on your health or a lot of money on your health? Or actually perhaps your TV subscription is a higher cost each month than what you spend on your health, for example. So is there an area that you value where you're not spending enough time and you'd like to spend more? Or perhaps it's the other way around? Perhaps there's something, an area where you're spending time or money, but you don't actually value it that much. So to have a little reflect on that is a great time to do that. So, as you may know by now, we hold a new and full moon ceremony every single month. And we're offering this on a pay, what you feel right basis at the moment. So you can come along to our new moon ceremony, which is gonna be on Friday, the 19th of December at 10:00 AM with me. And if you can't make it live, that's no problem. We record all of our ceremonies and it can be sent out to you on replay. So that's about 75 minutes that we get together and it's great getting this information. That's a great start. You've got awareness, you've got knowledge, you've got information. But where the change really happens in our life is by creating the time to really. Do the work. That's the way that I would say it and drop inwards. So in the ceremony, we hold space for you to meditate, for you to dream plan, for you to call in your new intentions and to get into a state of gratitude. So first, we invite you to plant your feet on the ground to connect with truth, with trust. To trust that a new story is being written and that more is gonna be revealed, and it's a space to heal your relationship with faith, with trust, with time, and believe that beautiful things can happen for you and that you're worthy for that. So in ceremony, we look towards the future whilst we rewrite our narratives gained from the past year and anchor ourselves deeper into the beauty of our now as well. So it is a place that we will choose to shine together, and especially in the darker months of the year. So if you'd like to join us for that, I will drop the link into our show note. So you can go there to join that, or you can go to a website, www.holistichealthcollective.co.uk and go to our online offerings, and we've added the moon link there as well. So what I'd really like you to take away from this episode is Sagittarius New Moon isn't just about new intentions, it's about the manifestation, but the actions that you're putting into play. So yes, of course you want to set a New Moon intention. It's a great time for New beginnings. But what are the action steps that you're going to put into place or choose one, one potent action step that you can actually stick to under this new moon and decide when you're gonna put that into place as well. So is that, you know, before Christmas, is it in between Christmas and New Year, or are you gonna get a date in the diary for the new year? So what we are really looking at is with this new beginning, you want maturity and commitment, and you're taking responsibility for that. Before I go today, I would love to invite you to take a breath with me. Let's do that now. So nice, deep, expansive, breath in through the nose and either out through the nose or the mouth. If you're feeling stressed, then you can lengthen the out breath. And just do a little check in with your body. Okay. When we're listening to podcasts, we are consuming and we are doing, and I'd like to remind you to take that moment for you. Just do a little check in with your body. How are you today? How are you navigating this winter season? Is there anything that you need right now or that you could put into place today or over the next few days to really look after yourself? And we are nearly at the winter solstice now, so that is the 21st of December. Remember, that's the point where the sun stands still for a few days and the days stop getting shorter and we start to have the return of light. So very, very gradually, the days are gonna start to get a little bit longer again, but we are moving into that winter season, so temperatures are likely to get a little bit more harsh. And especially if we've had a busy winter season running about, you know, it's easy to get a little bit low or a little bit down, or a little bit tired in January. So we have last week's podcast, which was all about how to nourish yourself using the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine for the body. So if you haven't listened to that one, go back and have a listen because there are certain foods. And practices that you want to get into place for your body in winter to have a more balanced season. So thank you so much for joining me for this episode. I'd love to hear from you. So drop us a message on Instagram at Holistic Health Collective UK or drop us an email hello@holistichealthcollective.co uk and let us know how you are doing on this new Moon. And we would really welcome you, particularly if you're new and you've never been to a moon ceremony with us before, and you're wondering what is it like? Maybe you're feeling a little bit nervous, so you're not really sure what goes on. I'd just like to say that we are so welcoming to all of our community, especially our community that's always returning. You know, that we know and love you. But anyone who's new, who's curious, we'd love to invite you to step outside of your comfort zone. If you join us online, you don't have to have your camera on. You don't have to interact. If you're nervous to do that, you can show up in your pajamas with your camera off if you want to. But equally, most of our community come with a camera on. They know each other, they're smiling, they're happy to see each other. It feels like a warm and welcoming community, and we'd love to welcome you to be part of that. And to have that community there, to have people who know you, who understand you, who get you, who support you, you have to take that first step to step into the community and to know that you're worthy. To do that, you have to invite yourself. Well, I'm giving you that invitation, but you have to invite yourself as well and take us up on that invite. So as I mentioned earlier, it's a pay what you feel is right basis. So this means that anyone, no matter what your circumstance can come along. We've had, a lady join us on the last few and she said, I'm on maternity leave at the moment and there's only so much I can contribute. And that's fine. That's why we've done it as a pay. What you feel is right is it allows you, no matter where you are in your life, that you can come along and get that online support. And then we have other people who are more abundant and they're able to contribute more, Which helps us keep those sessions, keep running for everyone. So thank you, for your generosity, your contributions, if you come along to those sessions. And we would love to keep making them available for you. And really that's just based on demand. So if you want them and we're gonna keep running them, we love running those sessions for you. And so I hoped. To see you online on Friday the 19th of December at 10:00 AM or you can catch the replay in your own time and I will see you on next week's podcast episode. Thanks for joining.
