Yes. Welcome to the Holistic Health Sisters podcast of Wellness and Real Life Sisters Hannah Carr and Sarah King from the Holistic Health Collective. In this podcast, we're going to be sharing our passion for, of course, holistic health, but also spirituality, healings, hormone, plant medicine, seasonal living, our love of nature, and our love of community. So we are gonna invite you to take a pause and take a nice deep breath. And join us on a path of healing, of self-discovery and self-love, and of stepping into the brilliance of who you really are. This is a podcast for the seekers out there. Those of you who know there's more to life than just surviving or going through the motions, and you want more, more health, wealth, happiness, love, compassion, connection, trust, surrender, and more faith, and you want that for others too. So we can make this world a better place for us all to go and grab a cup of ceremonial grade cacao and join us as we explore what moves through us, that which is divinely led, so we can all move from fear to walls, more faith. Thank you so much for being here with us today. A really warm welcome to the Scorpio Po New Moon portal that is open, and I'm going to invite you to get a little bit closer. Into a intimate and warm embrace into this space where I'm gonna share the insights about this moon, the energy. I'll offer you some soul inquiry and regulation techniques, and also just to remind you. If you're not already feeling it, this portal is one powerful transformative alchemical moon. So how are you, and let's just take that. We get asked that a lot during the day and how automatic we are with those responses, but can we just pause. Drop into the body and just check out how are you really in this moment? What is your body feeding back to you? And a deep breath might be useful here as well. And look after yourself. As you listen, if you can slow down an invitation to slow down so that you can take the words in and then really use them to. Let them guide you towards living a much higher vibrational life. one that feels really good for you. So the New Moon arrives in the uk, in London on November the 20th. It's 6:47 AM in New York. 1:47 AM and in la that's 10:47 pm. Like I said, this is a portal of deep transformation, an opportunity to shed old skins to meet your shadow, but with compassion. And this moon is so much about reclaiming personal power. So let me just jump in with some of the practicals, Scorpio's ruled by Mars and Pluto. The planets of drive, desire and transformation. Can you see a theme here? Their union creates a sacred fire, one that doesn't burn to destroy it, but to refine and purify, and this is the alchemy of Scorpio is really in the season of death and death, really being connected in that cycle of death and rebirth, that cycle of destruction and creation. Endings that become beginnings, that become middles, that become endings. And so the story goes on. How are you if you are in the northern hemisphere and you are in the dark half of your the year? Nature shows us like there is darkness and it's there for a really good reason. And if it brings up fear, we get a chance to look at that and transmute what's ready to be transmuted. Let me just normalize fear, let me normalize anxiety, particularly of the unknown, or perhaps it is known that what we are in fear of, but perhaps it's an old story and it is one that we can alchemize now. We're meeting this new Moon at the end of Scorpio season. So we move into Sagittarius season on the 22nd of November. Cast your mind back to about a month ago, about the 22nd of October what themes have been coming up. So there might be coming up as feelings in the body. They might be coming up as arguments that keep repeating or fearful thoughts, uneasiness, illness, and just take a moment to realize that is what is showing you what you are ready to be with. And like all new moons, there are time for us to go inwards so we don't see a new moon. We see it maybe a day or two after it's new and it's in its rebirthing stages. With the skies quieter and there's less reflective light from the sun around. This is a time for stillness and quietness to explore the mystery of who we are beneath the surface stories. It really is an opportunity for us to get to know ourselves better, and the moon connected to our emotions. We get to become more intimate with our emotional landscapes, to bring light to what we've exiled and to honor what is ready to be reborn. Let me remind you that we have no bad parts, and our shadow side isn't our enemy. It's just where we hide shame or grief. And it's where we've hidden brilliance and wildness, power and passion. And to reclaim our wholeness, we must be willing to sit in the dark and to meet what we've abandoned and to welcome ourselves home. The in and out of balance energies of Scorpio when we are in. Energy, it can feel magnetic. It's connected to the sacral chakra. So a place of creativity, transformation. That word again, it really is a chance for deep healing because when we integrate our shadows, we really coming into a sense of more wholeness. So there's a big healing portal. Even though four moons can be connected to. Healing a little bit more than a new moon. This one is really got that sort of healing properties to it. There's protection here, there's courageousness. There's a sense of loyalty and deep intimacy. But if this tips into out of balance, these energies can turn obsessive, destructive, controlling, jealous, or manipulative. And so if you've notice any of these themes coming up, I'd love to just say, no shame, no bad parts. There's a reason that this has tipped into out of balance energies.'cause every show has a messenger, a part of us that once learned to protect through control, secrecy, or withdrawal. And when we meet those parts with compassion instead of judgment, they can begin to relax. I don't need to hide so much. And that's how integration happens. Not through force, but through safety and awareness. Each moon has body parts under the influence. So if we work on these body parts, so we give them more nourishment, love or attention, there's healing opportunities here. And we do have a free download, so check that out. Really nice to print that out, have it on the side. And when we go into a new season, you can Refocus your wellbeing slightly. So Scorpio rules the reproductive system, the bowels and the excretory system. So really the places of elimination, but also every generation. This is where the body mirrors the spiritual process To transform. We must release what no longer serves. I don't find it a coincidence in Scorpio season. I have begun my compost pile is the very first time that I started composting. Last year I sat with my values. I wanted to grow food and I've tried to pace it and tried to just do one thing at a time and it just feels natural at this time of the year as the leaves drop and things start to degenerate and die is to work with those energies. So I have been really looking at the things that we excrete or abandoned and how they can be useful. How they're so part of the cycle. So that's my little, embodied approach, watching my compost pile, thinking about what's going in and thinking about what I need to release as well in order to have a really healthy ecosystem within my body. So shadow work might feel like a bit of a buzz word, sometimes a bit of a trend, shadow work shouldn't be performative. It's a remembering, this time of the year, it's about honoring the ancestors or about remembering those that walk before us, the stories that they carried, the stories that they passed down, the wounds and the desires that live in the unconscious. Carl Jung described the shadow as the unknown side of the personality, the traits, emotions, and memories we repress because we were taught that they were unacceptable. So can we just take a pause there? Can we be kind to those versions of ourselves that had to push things into the shadow because they didn't have a choice at the time? But these hidden aspects drive our projections, our fears, our relationships, and when we bring them into the light, we can begin to reclaim lost power. Trauma informed shadow work invites choice, pacing, and compassion. And really you do not have to rush your healing. You don't have to be active in your healing all the time doing things. You don't have to face everything at once or the hardest thing at once. You are allowed to take breaks. To ground to resource. Part of them, some of the modules that I teach in feeling wholeness and certainly with each full Moon, is really bringing in that pacing aspect. Like the fast way is the slow way when it comes to working with body healing and rewriting the stories in, they're carried in your nervous system. So it is really not about fixing what's broken. It's about remembering that you weren't broken to begin with. And also like transformation. It can be a heavy word, but it doesn't have to feel heavy. It can feel like relief, like when you've cried and you feel so much lighter or exhaling after holding your breath. You might have been doing that for years. That word integration again is key. I often see it missed out in a lot of, containers. This is no shame, it's just perhaps the level of awareness at the time. But after working with therapists or being on retreats it's really worthwhile being held just a little longer afterwards, or knowing that if you need to reach out, that you can do that because things can surface a while after you've purposely looked at something and without integration, shadow work could feel destabilizing, like stirring sediment without letting it settle. Integration is where wisdom crystallizes and where emotion becomes understanding and then that understanding becomes embodied truth. So questions that I would invite you to ask yourself. What truths are surfacing right now? Like when you look back over the month or longer, what's been surfacing for you and what are you ready to release control over? I just look at that as where didn't I feel safe before? Where I feel safer now that I can trust it's gonna be okay, that I don't have to hold on so tightly. And what parts of you are asking to be seen and not judged? And remember, your discomfort is a sign That's not something's gone wrong. It's just that something new is waiting to emerge and it can feel so scary when we can't see what's coming up. Learning self trust and learning trust of others in relationships and in community and in the world, it's like such a transformational gift. My soul inquiry for the Scorpio New Moon is, where am I holding my light in the shadows and what would it feel like to let it to be seen? So you might journal on this, you might, sometimes I dance with my soul inquiry. Or just simply hold it in your heart as you move throughout your week or your weekend. And the biggest healing happens in communities. Honestly, it really does because then you can be seen, you can show up, and you can integrate back into society. all the things that you felt like you had to hide and keep in, and no one would accept you if they knew this thing about you. You can start to come into community and know that is safe for you to be imperfectly you, which is perfect. As always, I'll invite you to join us in our new Moon ceremony. I'm going to be holding you through a flipping incredible practice called Unmasking. Inspired by the work of Charlie Morley, who's in the Lucid Dreaming world. And don't forget, coming up, we've got some special guests speaking about lucid dreaming and how it can really help you heal and integrate all different experiences. So the Scorpio new Moon circle is on Friday the 21st, or November at 10:00 AM in the uk. And if you are like, oh gosh, I really wanna do it, but I can't make that time, or I'm not sure, I wanna come on camera, I don't know if I wanna come into the Zoom room. That's fine. Everything can be done with cameras off, but you'll also get the replay. So if you register and it's donation based, so pay what you feel is right, then you'll just get that replay and perhaps you'll just put it on Saturday morning or whenever suits you, and we'll move through guided shadow, alchemy intention setting, and rituals to anchor these transformations together. So it doesn't have to be scary. Big, exhale. I'd love you to see how these words land with you, perhaps an affirmation. I allow myself to evolve and change. I have the power to transform my situation into a better one. I follow the wisdom of my feelings. Like I said at the beginning, the more you know yourself, the more you get to know yourself through working with the moon phases, the more you stay rooted in your truth and the more light you can access. Transformation isn't just the end of something or the end of you. It's just moving closer to you truly are. Ah, thank you for listening. Can we take one last deep breath together? Perhaps inhaling into possibility and exhaling to release and softening the shoulders. And yeah, thank you for exploring this. Thank you for journeying through this Scorpio new episode with me. And until next time, may you move with trust, tenderness, and truth. Thank you a million times, Ava, for joining us on this podcast episode.
