Thank you so much for being here with us today. Welcome to this week's episode with both me, Hannah, and Sarah. We are here together. We're very excited to be with you, and we are talking all about eclipses and what they mean for us, how they impact us, what we could be doing when we are in an eclipse season, and Sarah's gonna be sharing some of this with us today. Hi everyone. We thought we would come together because you get two for the price of one. You get personal experience and we've delve into our archives to pull out the most potent information that you need to know to ride this eclipse season and come through as that version of you that feels elevated changed. I feel like there's been growth and also it might feel like you've been through a washing machine. And if you do this with more consciousness, you'll know how to, come out a bit humbled, but cleaner and feeling fresher. If you are unconscious to what happens during an eclipse, it might just feel like life is. Tumbling you around and you are out of control. So let's just take a breath together. Let's remind everyone. The nervous system is nourished by our breath, so let's breathe deeply into the lungs, the lower lobes of the lungs. Is where the blood pools. So when we take the breath in there, we pick up all this oxygen and we nourish the body further. So that thing you're already doing, you are already breathing. It could be five times a minute, it could be 30 times a minute. Let's just do it with more consciousness. So enjoy that breath. And the word eclipse comes from the Greek word eclipsis, which kind of loosely translates to abandoned and accustomed place. How do you interpret that Han? I feel like it's pointing us in the direction of change and reminding us that change, well, change is inevitable anyway, but often we don't feel safe around change. But also it doesn't always help our lives to stay too stagnant. So to abandon an a custom place to me means. It's okay to move on. It's okay to grow. It's okay to maybe even change like physical location. What about for you? Yeah, I think it's coming outta the comfort zone. And the comfort zone is a place we can certainly be, but often if we are there for too long, is when, like you used the word stagnant. Mm-hmm. And we don't grow forwards and eclipse season actually comes. Every six months Anyway, astronomically, I'll speak to it. Eclipses occurs every six months and happens when the transits of the sun, the moon, and the earth all come into alignment. So these seasons typically last around 35 days, so just over a month. And eclipses generally occur in pairs, so they come with a lunar and a solar eclipse. So we'll speak specifically to the Virgo. Crises solar lunar eclipse, which is happening late August through to September when we get the tum equinox. A little bit more about them a time when the sun, the moon, and the earth are aligned is such a way the usual rhythms of the lunar are interrupted. So pattern interrupt everyone. In literal astronomical sense, eclipses occur when one celestial body moves into the shadow of the other. So shadow work, this is a great opportunity. So first of all, solar eclipse, solar being sun. This happens when the moon passes between the earth and the sun temporarily obscuring the sun's light. The lunar eclipse happens when the earth moves between the sun and the moon. And this casts an earth's shadow across the moon. So, thinking broadly, solar eclipse are about beginnings and lunar eclipses about endings. Now I will speak about this particular eclipse season. So we entered it two days after the New Moon in Virgo, which was the 23rd of August. So we hit the solar eclipse on the 25th of August, 2025, and the Pisces lunar eclipse is on September the seventh. Thinking about this as that sacred exhale after that big in breath, that big new beginning. And then we arrived to the second solar eclipse with the last New Moon Virgo on September the 21st. So you might think of this as like an opening of a door and a slamming shut of a door. So we've walked through this sacred. Portal, and this is right at the time leading up to the tum equinox as well, isn't it, Sarah? So this a powerful time of change anyway, and the body anyway, without the solar and the lunar eclipses going on, the body is actually going through its natural detox. Process at this time of year. And so we see people with like a lot of colds and feeling a little bit run down and low energy in their bodies if they're not in the natural rhythm, of life. And really listening to their bodies and what their bodies need. And I think the Solar and Luna eclipsed at this time. It's just gonna make this even more powerful. Sarah, what do you think? Oh yeah, these are. Powerful times. Like I said, if we're working with them consciously, we can really be planting powerful seeds and then releasing deeper so we can really pull out of that self-conscious with the full moon, the ways of living that h serving us anymore. So that's the summary of the eclipses. Let's talk a little bit more about, personal astrology and how you might be riding these eclipses. And Hannah, so you did look at your chart. Do you mind sharing your experience and your insights from that? Yeah, absolutely. So you can have a look at your astrology chart. There's different places online. One of them is called astro charts.com and you need to know, where you were born and the date and the time, and you input it and you get your astro chart up. So what I done was I had a look at, the sign of Virgo, what houses is it sitting in for me? And so the beginning of my Virgo sits in house 12, and the end of my Virgo sits in house 11. So what does the 12th house mean? Well, this is very much related to, spirituality. And the 11th house is much more about community and relationship. So what it means for me is as we had the Virgo New Moon, and it started in my 12th house, this is gonna be related to spirituality for me, and maybe the ending of something as well. And then when we have the next Virgo New Moon, because we've got those two in a row. Then that's gonna fall into relationships and community for me. And it can be really interesting to dive into the astrology a little bit more on a personal basis, not just knowing what it is for the collective, but what is it for you? So what we've done is we've just gone and had a look at that website that I mentioned, and then inside our membership, the holistic health circle, we have had an amazing astrologist. Georgina come in from Sun Faller healing and she's actually run two sessions for us in astrology. So one was teaching a basic overview, and then the next one we dived more into the houses, what they mean, what they represent, what does it mean when you have different, planets in different houses as well, how that can impact you. And so for any of our members or anyone who's interested to dive into astrology a little bit more, then we definitely direct you to the membership to have a look at those two sessions because it helps you to start to make sense of something that can feel quite complex, I'd say. Yeah, it's quite mathematical and scientific as well. It's an ancient education system, it's even weaved through the systems of yoga. They really recognize that and Aveda as well. But it's one lens to look through. Like I speak through things through the trauma informed lens. You can use the lens of astrology and astronomy to relate to yourself and the world. And we are in a Pisces Virgo Eclipse season here. And Virgo being an Earth sign. Now, I've individually dived into these in the new Four Moon episodes, but again, broadly Hannah said about looking at your own individual healing as well as what we're experiencing collectively. That's what our moon practices offer you the chance to do because we can't heal in isolation. We exist in an environment so we can do all the work on ourself, but the moment we step back into environments where there are some other people, which is everywhere, then we've got to learn how to regulate ourselves enough or to communicate in a way that feels aligned and feels like we are healing. Really. We're not just retraumatizing or in stressful circumstances where we feel, our bodies are undergoing pressure and just getting back into those cycles of burnout and dysregulation, and Virgo being the earth sign. She really calls us into body care. We spoke about how it's related to the nervous system. We digestive health and setting boundaries with energy. And the Pisces energy is much more, it's a water sign, so it's much more related to emotions. And full moons will always perhaps offer you a chance to look at your sleep patterns and how they may fluctuate and how full moons can really be tough if we are not embodying compassion. So compassion is key. That's why looking at your individual astrology is ideal. But we always come together as a community for our four and new mean circles, and we look at how it's landing within us, within our own emotions, with our own healing. And we should probably speak here about what our community getting out of these Hannah and our community at the moment, what we're really focusing on is. Perimenopause care and support, but also I spoke about retrospective healing'cause a lot of our clients are past the menopause and they still get so much out of these sessions, or perhaps a little bit before perimenopause, but are starting to understand why relating to life cycles are really important as well. What are you seeing? Because you work really closely with our clients, with your Ask Hannah Sessions, and also in your soul-centered workshops, and connecting back to when we all come together as a community in our moon cycles and moon circles. What I'm seeing, I think definitely for postmenopausal women, we are generally, as women, we are used to having a cycle. Even though we may not be that tuned into it, we are used to that cyclical living, even if it's not consciously. And actually once your period is no longer there, often women then you realize what you had and, and you start to miss it. And then you wish that you could have a cyclical way of living, but you may believe that you haven't got a cycle to follow anymore. But you do. You have the moon cycle and it's so closely linked to what's going on there with our emotions and the female body and the longer cycle, the infra Dian rhythm. So that's one thing that I notice., Another thing that I notice honestly is that our bodies are giving us a lot of feedback all of the times. So for example, today, perhaps that you might feel tired, or today you might feel a little bit run down and. What your body's really telling you is it wants some rest. But what we'll do is we look for a lot of answers outside of ourselves. So we may say, okay, I'm feeling a bit rundown. I really need some vitamin C at the moment, which vitamin C is really gonna help you. But actually we might be missing the most basic things, which is, I need a bit more rest. Or just an earlier night perhaps. I might need some downtime or I might need to cancel an arrangement for tonight. So I think a lot of the questions that are being asked is often our body is giving us feedback, but there's a lot of resistance, Sarah, to really fulfilling the very basic needs of our body. And if we did that. So if you've got, if you've got a banging headache, maybe don't go out today, for example, be with your body. But yeah, there's resistance for us to not do it because I suppose we want to feel productive. We want to feel valuable. We might be avoiding some ways that we don't want to feel, so we don't want to feel lazy. For example. So we ignore some of these very basic signs. So I think if we can come back to just slowing down and really listening to what our body's really telling us, maybe yours needs moving more today. Right? And we might ignore the urge of the body wanting to move in an unusual way.'cause it might look a bit. Different, it might look a bit different and people, you know, you're standing in a queue in the shops and maybe you wanna stretch, but you don't see anyone else stretching. And you don't wanna be the weirdo who's stretching, but actually the body's communicating it really, really clearly to you. So I think that sort of main theme that I'm seeing at the moment is, if only we could, and we can, we can. But how can we, I guess that's, that's my question is how can we, how can you. Really listen to that feedback and honor it and, and give yourself the time and the space that you actually need. Yeah, that sounds really powerful. And it's often about doing less, isn't it? I feel we look for the next buzz word or piece of scientific information that backs up,, something that we intuitively already knew. And like you said, often there's these patterns that we've had laid down in our formative years, and then society has imprinted them deeper on us about following obligations or people pleasing and politeness. And this goes at the expense of our own health. And at the moment, I'm doing a lot of research around women's health and the menopause and the perimenopause, and. It is bringing and stirring a lot of sacred rage within me for the collective, for women, and the way that we. Have disempowered ourselves and being disempowered, and that when we come back into circles and cyclical ways of being, although it can feel overwhelming, and when we start to track our health, we think there's a lot here and we feel it in an eclipse portal. We'll feel even more, we feel out of control. Even what we come to realize is the moon will come into its fullness each month, and then we'll wipe the slate clean each new moon. And we can pace ourselves. We don't have to, and I keep saying in quotations, fix everything. We don't actually need to fix anything, ladies. Everything is just feedback from the body and you can do what you want with that feedback. You don't have to bring yourself into perfection. Like there go out of that balance. Thinks that we might need to, we just need to come into. Knowing ourselves better and taking 1% towards that alignment with each moon. And I found, and perhaps Hannah can share her experiences when we come together in community. And it used to be just the two of us, we said about that on our very first episode. We just had these two anchor points and we were like, oh, a breath, great. What's going on for us? And it was very overwhelming at first, I found. But now we've been practicing for getting closer to a decade it feels like. Oh, that's okay. Things are starting to feel quite overwhelming. The full moons come in and I'll know that I'll have a little release there. I might have a little cry or a little shakeout, and I don't have to do everything. How I am is okay. I just need to check that I'm doing something for myself. To make this ride a little bit smoother and where are you at with your personal practice i'm just smiling as you're sharing all of that going. Wow. Yeah. 10 years and it's almost seems incomprehendible now that there was a point in our lives where we didn't make the time. It's contemplation time, really. Reflection time, slowing down time, reviewing time. We didn't spend time reviewing, for example. On a full moon, who do I wanna forgive? Which we always say in ceremony, it always starts with ourselves. Forgiveness. It's just that alone is a huge practice and we're checking in 12, 13 times a year. Right. And before you could go years without even thinking about who you wanted to forgive and. When we're talking about this, it's not just in our mind either. We bring it into the body and really, really feel it. And then we may deepen that more with a ritual as well. So maybe burning something on a fire or, you know, burying something or letting it go in another way where it's like a very 3D reality way of actually letting something go. So I'm just really grateful that it feels very normal for us now to have these rhythms and this regularity to. Checking in where we are in life, when really, it's so easy to allow one month to roll into another and not move to closer towards your goals, your dreams, or even live in a conscious way, Sarah, you're just doing, you're just getting up and you're just like doing the stuff that needs to do. So in my life, that might be the dishwasher, sorting the kids out, looking after the dog, taking him for a walk. You're just into this doing and you're not actually reflecting to think. Is this what I actually want in my life? And we get to do that on every single moon at the very, very minimum. And I guess in essence, what is it allowing us to do is allowing us to create a conscious life. And that's profound. It's powerful work. And I say to all of our ladies, every time this work that you are doing is deep just by being here, you are recognizing our cyclical nature. Which has been covered up really or forgotten. Indigenous women would always come together at the time of the new and Full Moon, and this alone helps to balance our hormones, doesn't it, Hannah? Like looking at oxytocin for example, which is a real bonding hormone. I think oxytocin is released when you're giving birth and when you're breastfeeding, but we don't. Stop that need for connection as we, grow up. We still need that. So even when we have it online, we're still getting, still serving that need for bonding. Even if we're just taking a self hug and we're remembering to do that. But when we do it in community, like the holistic health circle, we are creating a ripple effect, which is, reminding other women. And you are radiating out that what's going on with that woman over there. There's a shift in her. I can see her being authentic. I can see her being, kinder to herself. I can see something happening over there. It's a profound practice when you work with the moon. Yeah, and what I'd add to that, Sarah, is this connection with others is very important, but the connection with ourself, this is what is most deeply missing. And when we come into ceremony and there's a time and a date that we are meeting and so you put it in your diary and you come along to it, it's actually forging that deeper connection with yourself as well. We do a lot of check-ins that Sarah leads us through somatic check-ins. Connection to our breath and. That is what our body desires the most and probably for most of us listening, the thing that we do the least. So even just coming to ceremony and being with others. Yeah. Amazing. And it's giving you the time to be with yourself that someone else is leading you through that, probably you wouldn't do if someone else wasn't leading you through that practice. You know that breath works good or you know that you probably need to give yourself more time. If you don't really know how to do it, and if you did have time to yourself, you wouldn't really know what to do anyway, and so it's all created for you. All you've got to do is show up and then you're led through it. So it's not taking that brain power I was speaking to a friend this morning, Sarah, and she was saying that she doesn't know how to do something in her life differently. And I was saying, well, that's just it. When we are trying to let go of an old habit and start a new one, we don't know what it looks like and we can't imagine it because we haven't done it before. So for someone else to lead the way and show you and hold the space for you. Allows you to relax and, and trust that process a little bit more until perhaps you build up a little bit more of your own practice. Or you may realize, I love going to circle and being with other women. That is the thing that, that fills me up. Absolutely. So how can the Eclipse portal. Serve you Well, first of all, take the moments of the two new moons and the full Moon. Make sure that you schedule some time out for them. So the 25th of August, the time of recording, we've already had that. And then the 7th of September will be the full moon, and then the new Moon ending the portal will be 21st of September, the Vego New Moon. So mark them out in your calendar. Know that this 35 day piece of time might be a little unsteady. So thinking about those micro habits and micro practices that can really support you and Hannah, and I always say. One, think of the hydration. Yeah. And two, think of the sleep and the rest. Now you can do complicated breath work routines, and, and bed routines. If that's for you, go for it. But at least start with the things that you are doing, like drinking and breathing and sleeping and thinking about cellular. Hydration. And if you're not familiar with that term, then I would point you, signpost you towards our free five day challenge, which helps balance your hormones. And we start with cellular hydration, and we've got recipes and guidance in there. So we'll link to that in the show notes. So if you're feeling like you need a little bit more support and you're not ready for the moon practices yet, and the circle yet, go and check out back to balance. The free five day challenge, and you'll have us at the end of email really championing you on your way there as well, and know that this might be a deeply transformational time for the highest good of your life and the highest of all. So understanding a deep spiritual level, something is happening for you. And it can really help to be, I think, along my like-minded people when you're going through these times and having that guidance and support around you. I love how you said how it's happening for you, so not to you, so it might feel like it's happening to you if you're not plugged into any of this. But if you are looking to balance your health naturally and you're plugging into these moon cycles, I think that you probably realize that it is all happening for you. So I'd love to, just to share personally, I did get some feedback recently on why do people come to us for, healing, for space, holding for advice. And one of the threads throughout was that you are very authentic and honest. And when you share about your journey, it really helps to normalize my journey. And we're all on a different. Pace is on the journey, but we're all on the journey, right? For the New Moon in Virgo, I embarked on a plant medicine journey. And that is really brought lots up for me, which I'm going through the integration process of. And we will close this portal in Glastonbury on a heart chara of the planet. Hannah and I will be hosting a retreat there and we actually do the sick Click Lee. We host an Autumn retreat every year for the last four years. The reason we do it Autumn's really powerful because spring opens the new year portal in astrology. And we'll be walking to the dark half of the year at the Autum Equinox, and this is when grief can come up and it can come up. If we don't consciously process grief, we, the body does it for us. Remember, the body keeps the score and so the body will just speak this grief out for you, usually through lung related conditions, which we normalize as cough and colds. And well, you say Hannah, because you work quite closely with clients with these. Conditions. Yeah, I think asthma. Just breathlessness. Or just feeling like there's something that's impacted your lungs, even if you're not quite sure what it is. Bronchitis. It could even go into pneumonia. But also it feels like. Sadness or maybe even a depression. That's how it might feel in the body. Even if you don't have a physical where you're like, I've definitely got a cough, for example. It may just feel like something that's really weighing you down or you're feeling sad and you don't know why. Um, all of that can be related to grief. That's there in the body and. It does come up around this time of year. And again, knowing that means that we can prepare for it. There's a lot of things that we can do diet wise that we can add, for example, like spices into a diet which actually helps to, decongest the lungs and we might stay away from other foods that might. Create a little bit more work for the lungs. I'd say. So I was just chatting today and talking about ice cream and the fact that it's cold and it's dairy and it's sugar. This can be really, really hard actually on this body area. So on the colon and on the lungs as well. But if we know this, and we know that autumn might be a time that grief can come up. First of all, Sarah, when you say that to people, they might say, oh yeah, thinking about it now, you say it, every autumn might get sad, and they might actually have these patterns that they're semi aware of, but not completely in their consciousness yet. So what would that mean if you do feel sad every autumn? Well, for me now, it just really means one thing to sit with that sadness and to actually feel it, you know, or that grief, we might call it. To allow it to be. We are not trying actually to push it away. We are not actually trying to suppress it. Not even trying to fix it. You're just trying to welcome it and love it and, and feel it and accept it because that's what's there in the moment. And that might mean that you need to gift yourself. And I am gonna call it a gift. Give yourself some more time. So you might clear your diary a little bit at the beginning of Autumn and think that I'm gonna have a few. Quiet evenings in, and you mentioned that earlier, Sarah, about rest time. And what I wanted to add to that was rest time doesn't necessarily mean. Watching TV or scrolling.'cause that actually occupies the mind. But I mean, real rest time, which is when you are literally looking up at the sky or your ceiling or closing your eyes and you're going internal and you are feeling the sensations of your body. This is the kind of rest that I'm actually talking about. And that can feel extremely uncomfortable and maybe just boring and maybe. A lot of things come up in your mind, distractions that you need to go and do other things. All of that needs to be welcomed and worked through. They're not reasons to not do it, it is just to know that that will probably come up anyway. And that the bit that you are trying to get to the gold, like the connection to the feeling is beyond all of that. So that's some things I'd say about autumn and the lungs and grief and there's naturopathic techniques as well. So there's different things that you can do with castor oil on the lungs, and there's lots of herbs and there's so much to say actually about the lungs. And I will do a talk on it in the membership in September, a nutrition talk as well, where we go into all of the herbs and the foods that can support the lungs because, we are in this 3D world and sometimes we do need to work with the physicality of the body. But that's just the last symptom that's showing. It's really coming from the emotions. That's such an important piece of advice. Once it's in the earth of the body, it takes longer to heal. So if we. The emotion first of all, then yes, we can feel it and then let it go. And that's why we have our moon ceremony is because we touch in with the physicality of the body, the energy and the emotions. So if we haven't convinced you yet to come to a moon ceremony, then. We'll sweeten the deal. We don't normally do this, but because it's a clips season and we really want you to walk to the darker half of the year in, in the Northern Hemisphere. By the way, if we've got any people listening in the Southern Hemisphere, hello. And I hope you're enjoying more sunlight, but we are in the dark half of the year and we want your health to thrive and. We have got seven day free trial for the membership so that you can come in and grab that free day, seven day trial. But email us and say, this is what I'd love to work on so we can signpost you. There's so many incredible sessions in the membership. We'll say, look, we recommend it either come into this live session or go and check out this recorded workshop so that you get the most in that seven days. So we are really honored to be able to gift that to you and take the time. If you've been listening to the podcast and you know us, then take the time to take that gift. Yeah, and I just add to that, if you want to come and try the membership, that one thing that you're gonna need to again, gift yourself is some time, some time to work out your log on, to work out how to navigate to maybe put some dates in your diary for sessions that you want to come to. Because we could be so multitasking in this life, Sarah, that we just sort of sign up for something and then we don't really give it the time that it requires. But I was reflecting on this for myself this week, Sarah, all change requires time dedicated to it because if we just carry on. Our normal, busy life and we don't allow the time, even if it's just to drink more water, right? You consciously have to think, I need to drink some water. I need to get the glass. I need to fill it up, or I need a bit more time to keep popping to the toilet as well. So we need to gift ourself time to enable new habits to form and for our life to change if we stay as busy as we have always been. Nothing will ever change. And so that even includes having a free trial to a membership is you've got to give yourself the time to actually. Look through the resources that are there and the resources that are there. There was 5,000 pounds worth of content years ago, so it's probably like 10,000 pounds worth or more now. Like literally so much golden information that could, could literally change your life. But only if you give yourself a time to actually go through it and not just mentally learn it, but integrate it into your life, into your body. We call that embodiment or you know, thematics, but actually. Living it as well, not not just learning it through the mind. Yeah. Thank you.
