Yes. Welcome to the Holistic Health Sisters podcast of Wellness and Real Life Sisters Hannah Carr and Sarah King from the Holistic Health Collective. In this podcast, we're going to be sharing our passion for, of course, holistic health, but also spirituality, healings, hormone, plant medicine, seasonal living, our love of nature, and our love of community. So we are gonna invite you to take a pause and take a nice deep breath. And join us on a path of healing, of self-discovery and self-love, and of stepping into the brilliance of who you really are. This is a podcast for the seekers out there. Those of you who know there's more to life than just surviving or going through the motions, and you want more, more health, wealth, happiness, love, compassion, connection, trust, surrender, and more faith, and you want that for others too. So we can make this world a better place for us all to go and grab a cup of ceremonial grade cacao and join us as we explore what moves through us, that which is divinely led, so we can all move from fear to walls, more faith. Thank you so much for being here with us today. Welcome to this Aquarius Full Moon podcast episode with me. Sarah, I want to start this off by saying today's gonna be a big subject. So we are going to be talking about collective healing and unity consciousness, and this is a subject which is really close to my heart and I really feel like this is how. The survival of human beings is going to happen. So buckle in, I'm going to give you lots of soul inquiries. And whilst a lot of the time I listen to podcasts and some of the hosts say, take notes. You're gonna want your journal and pen for this one. I really mean it for this one. And if you're not able to do that, then come back to this. And if you've got the opportunity to even come to our full moon ceremony inside the holistic health circle, I really feel like you're gonna have a huge magical shift in your consciousness. So, okay, big promise, but here we go. This is a powerful lunation. This isn't a sign of Aquarius, by the way. Shout out to big sis Hannah, who is an aquarium. It's the Sign of revolution community and visionary thought. All four moons are an invitation to release, to let go, to surrender, and this is a deeper invitation into thinking about what it truly means for you to evolve. As a collective, as part of humanity. Right? So some more practicals before we jump into this. Aquarius is an air sign. It's often confused for a water sign because of the glyph, because of the symbology of it. So it's very connected to the thinking mind. And, it's a sign of communication of new paradigms and it's ruled by Uranus. And Uranus is the planet of rebellion. Can you see where I'm going with this? It's about breakthroughs and awakening. And so this lu nation, it may really stir up, suppressed feelings of frustration, especially where you felt trapped by systems or outdated norms. So loves what to do when you feel like this. First of all, hold space for it. It can be really hard to hold space for difficult feelings, and I really talk more to this and the nervous system later in the episode, so I'll give you some real practicals. But this moon isn't about personal liberation only. It's about collective evolution. And Uranus shakes things up, and this isn't for chaos sake, even though it can feel like that in our life. But to usher in new ways of being that are rooted in authenticity, innovation, and humanitarianism. And the symbology, the glyph is like the water carrier. You often see the water, carrier tipped upside down, and two like electricity bolts coming out, which often people think are waves, but it's like the waves of collective consciousness and those electricity bolts are very connected to our mental stimulation. We're going to be approaching Eclipse season as well, so things might start to feel more intense. So this is a call to make space my loves, not just in your home or your calendar, but in your nervous system, in your belief system, and in your relationship to others. So because I'm a trauma informed somatic coach, I'm gonna just ask you to drop into your body for a moment. How's your body doing? How do full moons affect you? But particularly air signs. Now let's remember that Aquarius and all astro signs rule different body parts. We've got a free download for this, so, head to the show notes to grab the free download. It's really useful if you print it out, pin it up, and then when the moons come along, just check in. Particularly with these body parts,'cause most likely they might need some extra love. So Aquarius governs the calves, the ankles, and the shins. So if you'll feel tension, stagnation, or even injury in those areas, you can ask what is literally holding me back from moving forwards. And these are physical cues. They're often invitations. When our body speaks like this, it's often like our soul whispering underneath, what are you resisting? What parts of yourself need more grounding in order to feel free? And so because. Hannah is a naturopathic nutritionist and I'm a body worker. In our, Full Moon and New Moon ceremonies, we will give you practical guides on how to really support these body parts.'cause it can feel really overwhelming when we step into the wellness world and it's like, oh, everything needs fixing. Where do I start? So the moon gives you these little anchor points and go, okay, for the next couple of days, I might focus on this, if that feels right for me. And then on the next moon I can shine a light on something else. So it just breaks it down. It offers amazing pacing. Okay? Take a pause and delve through a true trauma informed lens to speak about a shift. From individual to collective healing. So often modern healing is hyper individualized. Now, I spoke about, hyper independence in the Capricorn. Full Moon, which was the last full moon, and I got lots of personal reach out from you to say, oh my gosh, I really resonated with that. It's called softening the strong one. So it might be worth going back and having a listen. And it's about,, feeling the pressure, having to show up and be everybody. And this is often what Hyper Individualization is about. And can I just speak through the trauma informed lens? No wonder if you have been through trauma and you are traumatized or posttraumatic stress or high stress, and by the way, this latest Stats show that nine out of 10 of us are, then you probably want to go away and fix yourself and show up when you're presentable, when you're ready, when you can fit into society better. You probably said at some point, I just wanna lock the doors close away myself and deal with this on my own. I don't wanna see anyone, I just wanna run away. You feel like you need to do your shadow work? You need to take responsibility for your vibration. Okay. And some of this has its place. Leo energy talk, teaches us about sovereignty. And how essential it is. But we cannot ignore that. We are systems within systems. We exist within a whole ecosystem. Like we could not breathe without being breathed by the trees and by plants and by the seaweed. That actually, creates a lot of oxygen. I say that'cause I live by the sea. So shout out to all the sea life. You are a droplet in the ocean. Both completely unique. And wholly connected. The trauma informed lens reminds us that many of our responses, our resistance, our withdrawal, our hyper independence are not flaws, but adaptations. They were your nervous systems way of preserving yourself, of saving you. They formed in relationship to your environment. So when I say your environment, where you live, your communities, your relationships, your work, everything external. And so healing must happen in relationship too. This means learning how to work with your nervous system to receive. I'm gonna speak to this personally because it has been a huge piece for me, an ongoing piece, and working with emotional holding in a healthier way. My clients when I work with them one-to-one. So I do still hold one-to-one containers because sometimes it isn't appropriate to do group healing. But more and more I am recommending do your one-to-ones and come into the group when you can find your safe container where you feel like you can be seen and you feel safe to be authentically you. And I teach clients how to hold emotion, how to hold difficult emotion so that you can face the world. That is the state of the nervous system. When we're, if I speak to polyvagal theory, some of you know it where you are in ventral vagal, this is the healthy part of your nervous system. Also not to say that the other parts are unhealthy, but when your body is in homeostasis. It might not be easy, but you can face and show up in a group and. Be seen now. I used to go to red tents, also known as like full moon ceremonies, or community healing spaces, and I was so terrified when it was my turn to speak. I would ha be having a panic attack. My voice would shake, my heart rate would be rapid. I would want to flee. I would want to disappear. I didn't think anything I, I had to say, would hold a candle to what anybody else said. I had zero self-worth, low self-esteem, and I felt that. Any issues. So a lot of the time moon circles can be times to bring our challenges to the forefront in order for them to be witnessed, which is a huge part of healing. And everything I thought I was going through was nothing in comparison to someone else. I had no right to speak to any challenges'cause who was I to have a problem? And this is very much a trauma response. Something that I had. I've been taught to believe. And I'm totally working on that and I know lots of women, and in fact, many of my friends say that, you know, I've got nothing to complain about really. And I do recognize my position of privilege a hundred percent. But as a able-bodied white woman. With a home, with employment, with my health, it doesn't mean that I don't have challenges still. So just, finding our place with that. And so if there's judgment with your truth, this may be self-judgment, but this may be a projection from somebody else. It might say more about where they're at. Their nervous system or on their journey. It's not a reflection of you not being enough. You're not gonna be for everyone. But find the people who you are for and let them show you how loved you are and how awesome you are. And when it comes to triggers and projections, when we are in face mode, we can really better understand that our triggers are. A place where we can heal, right? They're an unresolved part of us, and I used to blame others,, that person needs to stop triggering me. Whilst that would be great, right? It's not for me to say to others, I need to stop be being a certain way. It's for me to learn to regulate myself enough. And not feel like that person's letting me down or nothing ever changes, but to be kinder to myself and say, yeah, I need to do something for my own, healing. I need to be perhaps around people that do understand, in a deeper way, in a trauma informed way that some language is kinder than others. Some ways of being are kinder than others. And so true healing, especially under the Aquarius Moon, asks, how can we make space for each other's pain and not just our own? How do we participate in a culture of care rather than self-isolation? And what systems do we co-create that either reinforce, wounding or support restoration? Aquarius Energy when balance is very innovative, visionary, inclusive. And when out of balance, it can become emotionally detached. I'm thinking numbing out, shut down. It's rebellious, but without purpose, and overwhelmed by ideas and disconnected from the heart. So more in the head. This is why we have an Aquarius four Moon in Leo season because it balances it perfectly. Leos of the heart, Aquarius is of, as a of the head. And so this For Moon does ask us, come back to the heart of our ideals, so I have some journaling prompts. So I did say about having your notebook around, but this is why the full Moon ceremonies are just great because we come back to that same notebook. We'll come back on Aquarius New Moon and an Aquarius four Moon, and we'll check our own evolution and we'll check what needs a pivot, what needs surrendering. But I'm gonna ask you here, what does it mean for me to be free, truly free? And I have recently had a whole month off of work, a whole month of traveling, and I felt truly free. I really did. And when I felt free, my nervous system shifted from a stress state and I didn't realize how stressed it was into face mode. And when you are in face mode, things like creative ideas really open up. You start seeing solutions to problems, things start to feel like I can attitude. So what does it mean for you to be truly free? What thoughts can you release to feel more peace in your mind? Where in your life have you tried to heal alone, and what would it look like to heal in community instead? And so you might like to create a ritual around that. Perhaps light a candle, place your hand on your heart and use one of these affirmations. I am safe in embracing change. I'm allowed to be fully me. I am unity consciousness. When I change myself, I change the world. And so you don't have to fix yourself to be worthy of belonging. You are not broken. You are always becoming One of the mantras I use, I have made a reel on this so I might share it on the collective page, is I am a masterpiece and. A work in progress. I'm always a masterpiece and always a work in progress. We heal when we are seen, held and witnessed by others, not just by yourself. It is one thing to say, do you know what? Actually, I am going through a hard time, but when somebody else witnesses that for you, and without self-judgment, not trying to fix you just listens. There's huge healing. This is one of. First things I was taught in trauma healing, trauma resolution, i'd love to hear your thoughts on liberation. It feels like it's a common desire for most of us. We want to feel free, and I just really wanna speak to so many communities that are persecuted, that are trapped, that are imprisoned, that are under starvation. They're not free to make choices right now. And for us not to turn a blind eye to that, if we can use our voice when others can't, can we share? Can we speak to the love of other humans that don't have the freedom that we have? Healing isn't always tidy. Let's just drop this myth of the isolated self healer and begin to build systems of co-regulation. Like storytelling is a huge piece here. So when you perhaps read someone else's story and you feel moved or empowered by it and you feel touched, collective dreaming, you know where we say prayers, that we are as humanity.. And so this moon, is often, you know, this moon is about being authentic and giving out energy to people that love your presence because you are part of them. Whether you are struggling, whether you are soaring, whether you are stressed, and all the in-betweens. And I'd love to speak to someone who really inspires me to create, this type of community, definitely my sister.'cause that's why we collect, we created the holistic health collectives. But also I interviewed Kandiss from NBE in episode 23, and that's called Why Inclusive Communities are key to Mental and Physical Wellness. So I really highly recommend and listen, and go and check her out on Instagram. And if you can get to any of her in-person events on the Thanet coastlines are around Margay area. Then go and check out. It's an amazing community and it really considers inclusivity, intersectionality, and joy for everybody's body. Okay, some self-care. My loves. As we move towards the eclipse season, I want you to think about detoxing. That does not serve you. So detoxing your spaces, maybe your tech spaces, but detoxing this myth of the illusion of separation. That's what yoga actually means. Unity, and this is about letting go the illusion of separation and being brave enough to evolve together. Again, I have women come to work with me that say, I actually need to lose a little bit of weight before I come into this work. And again, this is this not enough piece. I can't show up as I am yet. You know, I can't come into that community because, and we had one beautiful community member say I don't want people looking at me'cause I'm too big. And that hurts me when I hear that because there's so much love in our community. Just for showing up, like we have zero expectations of the way you look. We love to welcome in, women of all abilities, of all colors, of all ages. We do have a niche. We work really well with women going through the perimenopause so often our content will really support you moving through a healthy perimenopause, so around the ages of 35 to 55, but we offer that support for women who are younger and older than that. So what I'm gonna invite you to do is let's be brave enough to evolve together. Oh, I hope that I have moved you in some way. I hope that I have moved you. To feel that you can get closer to a community, whichever one speaks to your heart and to your mind, our minds are important as well. So thank you so much for spending this sacred time with me. Full Moon self-care, please hydrate on a cellular level. Again, if you're not sure what that means, we have. A free of charge container over five days where we support you online. And we start with cellular hydration, which is particularly important if you have hormone imbalances.'cause you don't always get your thirst signals, when your hormones are out of balance. Did you know that? And if this episode resonated with you, I really invite you to share it with someone who might need a reminder that they're not alone in their healing. And also for men as well, because loneliness is a crisis and suicide rates are really high with men and they often feel like they can't talk about those problems. And actually, we've had some men come into our spaces. I've been working one-to-one, with some, men. We've had some men sign up for our silent retreat and we were really welcoming a mixed space here. So if any of you. Have a man in your life that might feel like they might benefit from some of these words or even, share the retreat details with them. It's in January. It's just after Christmas because this is the time when we usually have spent some time with family and also recognizing some people don't, which can be a very lonely time and we might need some time on our own. And then we are doing it on a new moon so that you can set intentions, for that, lunation nation. And some of you might be used to set intentions for the new year. In January, we actually move with nature cycles and the new Year. Intentions usually come in airy season when there's more fire, more warmth, and also it's the astrological new year. And most people feel very tired and burnt out in January, so we just, we'll just set them for that loo nation, but invite you to do what feels right for you. So until next time, stay rooted, stay radiant, and I hope these words land. You are the ripple that becomes the wave. The way that you think, feel, and act has a huge impact on your own ecosystem and any communities that you are already in. So whether that's work your household, whether you are part of a, a church or a fitness community, you create a ripple effect. So allow yourself to remember your own brilliance. And I'll see you on the next episode. Thank you so much for listening. Thank you a million times, Ava, for joining us on this podcast episode. You can support the show by giving us a follow on any podcast platform you're listening to this on. If you already follow us, then thank you so much and maybe share this episode. If you think of someone, someone comes to mind where you think they'd really benefit from listening to this. This is one way that we like to spread the love with our friends, is sharing podcasts or playlist. So let them know that we are thinking about them. So just send it on to them with a few words about why they might enjoy it. And if you'd like to check out any of our in-person events or retreats or our online offerings, head over to our website, www.holistichealthcollective.co.uk. We'll see you in the next episode.
