Thank you so much for being here with us today. A warm welcome to the portal that is open of the Scorpio Full Moon. Oh, I feel like I've got a lot to share about this moon. Let's just start by saying when it's gonna be. So the moon will be full in London on Monday, may the 12th at 5:55 PM So we've got a little bit of synchronicity with the numbers there. And it's a water sign. It rules the sacral chakra, and I'll be sharing about the potential benefits of healing the body parts that are under influence of this moon. And if you wondering what does she mean by the body parts that are under the influence of the moon? We've got a wonderful free download, that you can grab. I'll put it into the show notes and it takes you through each astrological sign, which is attached to each moon and what body parts this influences and rules. And back in the day, the doctors and the surgeons knew this and they would not operate on, a full moon. the blood is less likely to clot, so wounds wouldn't heal as quickly and easily. And this is the kind of thing you get to tune into when you have a moon practice and when you work with the seasons, you'll notice certain times of the month or certain times of the year will really support certain health practices. But also everything within us is reflected outwardly. So we invite you as holistic health practitioners to always tune into yourself, first of all. And that's the kind of thing that we support you with, the holistic health circle. And this is where we'll be hosting our full moon ceremony on Monday, the 12th in the evening. So we always record them as well, so you get to catch them in your own time. And we enjoy that full potency of the moon for around three days. And I have to say, I'm already feeling this in my body, so I'm gonna ask you to take a sacred pause. Take a nice full breath. And you'll be listening to this. You'll be perhaps up in your head thinking and, taking this information in through the mind, but it's your body which you experience life through. So I'd inviting you just to tune in and notice what your body is telling you in this moment. What are you feeling? What patterns are coming up for you that may feel. Familiar under this moon, four moons draw to the surface and illuminate things within us that may be in the shadows. And Scorpio is the queen of shadows. So we have a new moon in Scorpio, usually around Halloweeny time. And then six months later, in the light of late spring, early summer, we have this wonderful full moon, which kind of for me makes it a little bit easier to do the shadow work when there's a bit more warmth around. When there's a little bit more blue sky and sunshine. I feel like I'm able to perhaps look at those repressed parts of me, parts that might be in my system in a freeze or shutdown state, and that the warmth. Of the season really offers me a chance to transmute them, and that is the medicine on offer under this moon. It's so beautiful. It can really offer radical transformation and liberation. And if we think about what shadow work is, a lot of shadow work was done through the psychologist Carl Young he said that basically these are repressed parts of us, parts that don't feel safe to be seen. And through my trauma informed work, there's many reasons this can happen. A lot of it may happen in childhood, some of it may be intergenerational, and a lot of repressed parts come through societal conditioning as well. The body parts that Scorpio rules are the genitals. So we are thinking about the sacral chakra, that area around the hips, the urinary system, the genitals and the bowels, and interestingly, the nose as well. So notice for yourself if there are any repeating challenges of health or dis-ease in this area because this moon might offer you a chance, it may show you some more aggressive symptoms, it might show you some more discomfort, and that is just a signal from the body. You are not broken, you are not. You are not broken. This is a chance for you, my love, just to slow down, go within and tend to the body. Because when we do that, we can break a pattern rather than going into that old mindset of, oh, this thing, again, what an inconvenience or why isn't medication working? Or, why does this always happen to me? Kind of this victim mentality. We can start to think, ah, there's that signal again from my body. How can I do it differently this time? What does it really need? Because often we'll just follow an old way of being and this is the chance to transmute that. And so we need to take a pause, take that sacred moment in the cycle. And also when you work with the moon practices for a while. The full moon is a time of celebration, so perhaps you'll notice, gosh, I actually feel quite, healthy, quite vibrant, My inner critic is quiet. I feel quite joyful under this moon, and so this is a chance to think. Yeah, I did break some patterns and I've been upholding myself to a higher level of being, and I'm gonna take this time just to really thank myself or thank all that's in support of that and then take a moment to enjoy that. So the Scorpio Full Moon falls within tourist season, and Taurus is really the first blooms of spring. And so it asks us to take that pause and invites us into a bit of a release. So in the last episode, I spoke about some of the, traits and qualities of Taurus season and the sign of Taurus. And it can be a little tour. Loves stability. It's a, earth sign. It loves grounding, it loves to feel the security of finances or home. Then Scorpio comes along and asks you if it comes out of balance, it could go into control. Some of this, craving of stability and it asks us to release those attempts of control, of forcing, tourists is symbolized by the ball, which can be like a ball in a China shop sometimes forcing its way in. It asks us to release the many ways in which we fight against ourselves, and instead asks us to turn directly inwards to ourselves, asks you to allow yourself to evolve and change, but to do this at a pace that works for your nervous system. The moon practice is so beautiful'cause you can work with these 12 or 13 moons a year. You don't have to do it all in one go or in within one month, which often we love to do. And it can get us into overwhelm, it can get us into perfectionism, and we just let go of any good intentions that we might have set on New Moon or at the beginning of the new year. And it allows us this softness and this rhythm that works with our own, innate nature. It really asks us to move with life cycles, which for me has been such a beautiful practice, and with these transformations, it's just gonna bring you closer to yourselves and you'll only be shown what you are ready for. So Scorpio is a really deep soul filling sign. It does want you to go deep into your subconscious and get to the root of what's going on to transform it. And so here I wanted to speak about this. Moon can offer you a chance to get to the root cause of any imbalances in your body, but you will need to take some time in a little ritual or ceremony and go with them. So this might look like meditation, journaling. It might look like a focusing practice where you focus on in feelings and sensations in your body, and it really asks you to feel, and within this sign, it could bring up things like shame. It could bring up things around possessiveness, it could bring up feelings around jealousy or manipulation. Definitely control. But when they come out of the shadows, you can transmute these feelings and they can become more creative, more protective, magnetic healing. These are all available for you under a Scorp piano moon. So when you sit with these, you get to consciously choose what you're going to embody. My inquiry for you is, what do you feel quite fearful to look at within you? Does something feel a little bit out of alignment or out of balance, and it just feels too big to look at that and what might help you to feel more empowered around that? It could look like asking for support. It could be like slowing down or taking some time out, but you can heal the root cause of disease under this moon. And what I would invite is a really holistic approach when you're looking at the root cause. So western medicine is allopathic and it looks at treating the symptom, but something that you are holding might be carried through the generations. It might be imprinted in your DNA and held in your blood, and therefore. What could be great is to look at things like ancestral healing, to look at a whole mind, body, and soul approach to healing. And if this feels really big or you have no idea how you'd look at ancestral healing or something more of a mind body, soul approach to healing, that is why we invite you into this sacred container of the holistic health circle where it's intimate and we get to work with you and your beautiful uniqueness. And you get to pace it out. This is a really important thing. You don't have to do all the healing under one moon. You get to step through that doorway of the medicine of each astrological sign. Scorpio does ask us to look at our relationship with power and power dynamics where we feel like we are giving our power away and when we feel empowered as well. Pluto, this is the sign that rules Scorpio, and it's going to be in retrograde. It is one of the outer planets. It's one of the service planets away from us, so we won't feel it really, Like we might with a Mercury retrograde, but we will be feeling this on a collective level. And I think if we do tune into the news or we feel into the fear of the collective, a lot of this can be connected to power and perhaps questioning the systems that are running, our countries running, holding the power of money. With the sensual side of Scorpio coming under illumination, it might just show up things around. Weaponizing the sexuality of us. Perhaps I can just speak to us as women, but using our power in a more toxic way. So when does that passionate and intimate side of you fall into the shadows and bring up shame? How might you use this moon to allow those feelings to surface, to hold them, and to transmute them into something more creative, more passionate, more transformative. So fun fact for you. It was a full moon in May that Buddha was born, Buddha that experienced enlightenment. And so yes, under this moon, we have an opportunity for blessings and an opportunity of great awakening. being a mind centric culture, it will be much safer for us to go up into the mine and try to rationalize and logic things out, especially when it comes to our feelings. But being a water science Scorpio really is offering you to touch in with the intelligence within your deep inner knowing, with your intuition of it and with your intelligence. There's an offering of surrender here, surrender to the control, which may be a bit of illusion in your life. A lot of women that I work with, and particularly on a retreat, I was recently co-hosting. The theme of control came up. We have so many plates to spin. As modern women, we have so many masks to wear and so many traits of our personality that we need to just be able to draw upon and within those aspects of ourselves that can show up and be able to cope with a lot of changing situations. We feel like we have to control things in order for things to run smoothly, in order for everyone to have their needs met, in order for people to feel safe and for things to happen, right? Oh, so it feels a bit edgy. Just saying, let's relinquish some of that control. It isn't all down to us. We are in collaboration with our human family, with the elements and the universe. It's not all on you. You may feel that pressure on you and within you. Just inviting you to ask, where do you feel that? I feel that pressure on my shoulders. I feel the weight of the world sometimes on my shoulders. I'm missing opportunities for healing. And so part of that's true, but also it is not all on me. I'll do my a hundred percent of mine, but I can't change anybody else. I can't control the way that other people feel if I say something. Intention and it doesn't land in the way I hope with somebody. I think I'm learning to let go of that's not mine to own, and perhaps that person needed that life lesson and whilst it may not feel comfortable for me to deliver that, it's just part of the greater workings of the universe. And this really comes back to trust. Trust is a feeling that I'm really amplifying each moon. Its awakening even deeper and expanding within me. And I do see it in the collective that it's a really hard one to hold onto that feeling of trust and we will be tested by the universe, We can choose, right? We can choose whether to let go of that trust and lose all hope, or we can hold it in our hearts. And so I'll probably have to give a shout out here to ceremonial grade cacao because it is an activation superfood of the heart. And it really, wow, it just helps me so much to be in my heart, over my head and for me, trust lives in my heart, not in my head. So I hope that there's been something juicy there for you. So if you want that group support, remember the doors to the holistic health circle are open and you can be held through your journey of healing. The moon ceremonies are just a small part of the holistic health circle. We offer nutrition, naturopathic advice. We've got nervous system regulation practices in there for you. Some of them are live, lots of them are recorded, and there's a huge library of them. So whatever's coming up for you, there are different ways to support that through the mind. The body and the soul, but most importantly, through the community healing, through collective healing. I think the era of self-healing alone is coming to an end and to do it together is really where it's at. Oh, I get so proud when I talk about the ladies within the holistic health circle because they're really, weaving this deep collective healing into the matrix, and I'm so grateful for them and so grateful for you for listening. So please share anything that has moved you with someone that might get support or help from that.
