Let's look at the Pisces new moon energy, the Glymph of Pisces, it's two fish swimming in opposite directions. So there's a lot of watery energy here, and water really represents kind of being boundary less. It invites you to look at your dreams, what are they telling you?

and join us on a path of healing, of self discovery, self love, and stepping into the brilliance of who you really are. This is a podcast for the seekers out there. Those of you who know there's more to life than just surviving or going through the motions and you want more. More health, more wealth, more happiness, more love and compassion and connection, more trust, more surrender and more faith.

And you want that for others too so we can make this world a better place for us all. So go and grab a cup of ceremonial grey cacao. And join us as we explore what moves through us, that which is divinely led so we can all move from fear towards more faith. We want to thank you so much for being here with us.

We love and appreciate you today.

A warm welcome to this space with me, Sarah, from the Holistic Health Collective. And I'm going to be speaking about the portal that is open of the new moon in Pisces. And I'll be speaking through a trauma informed lens. On how you can help to balance your hormones, improve your health and your sleep, and just take one more step towards living a life that feels more aligned and more fulfilled for you under this new moon.

So let's just talk about what a new Moon represents. So this is where the moon is in line with the sun. So it's being blocked, you don't see the moon. And that's when you look up at the sky at night and you just see a blanket of stars, but there's no moon, there's no crescent moon, there's no full moon.

And this lack of light, Actually invites us to be a bit more introspective at this point in the cycle. It asks us to take some time out, out of being extroverted, or being away from the world of doing and productivity, and check in, touch base, with our own needs. And I'm curious to know if that's something that you consciously and purposely do at least one point in the month.

Or do you just keep going, just like the sun? You kind of rise and fall every day with the same intentions or same energy? Or do you feel like you are meant to? And that's why we love working with women and the moon cycles. A moon cycle is around 29 and a half days, and it moves through each astrological sign of the zodiac.

And giving us 12 moons, 12 opportunities and 12 chances, sometimes 13, depending on where the moon falls in the calendar at that month. Asking us to pace ourselves and work with the energies that are in line with us at that time. Whew, it feels like a bit of a relief. It feels like a chance just to take one step forward at a time rather than having to do everything.

So this is a really nice way to pace yourselves with What to focus on your health and where to put your energy, and also to feel normal, to feel like you're in line with the seasons and the natural world as you notice this ebb and flow of your emotions, your energy, and your health as well. So as you listen to each moon podcast with us, each new and full moon.

Hopefully you'll start to see patterns and you'll start to pick up on perhaps health challenges, perhaps areas of your life that you'd like to bring some focus to. And just a reminder that we hold space in an inner circle as well. In the Holistic Health Circle, we hold a new and full moon ceremony live, which is also recorded every month, so you can grab it in your own time.

And we speak about the energies of the moon in more detail. But we particularly track our physical health, our emotions and our energy and we build up almost like an encyclopedia of what's going on so we can look back and say, okay, when did maybe this health thing flare up and what have I been doing towards supporting myself?

We are natural health practitioners, so we will always bring our expertise into the space on what to focus on. And we also work through forgiveness. We work through intention setting and we work through co regulation. In this world of separation, well separation isn't an illusion, but we kind of all live in our own little separate boxes.

And we're, we've been severed really from a lot of our spiritual traditions from the natural world. We're kind of staring at screens a lot of the time and often spending time very stressed out. So coming in with the moon cycles and coming into it's a women's circle for us, but it may look different for you gives us a chance to really connect in with The web of life, really.

And let me just talk about how you can work with the energies of Pisces. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the planet Neptune. And, I have to admit here, I'm a cat lady. I live with two cats, and one of them is called Neptune. And I actually called him that when I moved from London to the coast, and that was part of my New Moon journey.

Manifesting or intention setting to move from the city to the coast before I retire, and which I managed to do at the age of 37. So yeah, that felt very satisfying. But yeah, my cat Neptune is a little ginger cat. I'd love to know if you are a cat person, a dog person, or both. I actually love all animals to be fair.

But I do love the independence of cats. But, Neptune is the ruler of the oceans and the seas, and if you think of the Glymph of Pisces, it's two fish swimming in opposite directions. Really beautiful. So there's a lot of watery energy here, and water really represents kind of being boundary less. It invites you to look at your dreams, what are they telling you?

Listen to your intuition and trust your emotions to guide you. It means when you follow your dreams, you can really create a life that feels right for you. A life that you will flourish in. And so often we are conditioned, Pisces really asks us to look at the subconscious as well as the conscious.

And so what programming has gone in that you might be following ways of living and being that don't feel aligned for you. So it's a really good time to look at your dreams. And through a trauma informed lens, I just wanted to speak a little bit about sleep hygiene. And perhaps if you're one of the many people I work with, or the many people in the world that struggle with their sleep, I just want to send you so much love and love.

Some really good health tips and simple ones which we'll be going into much more detail Inside the new moon ceremony in the holistic health circle And we are linked to the rhythm the circadian rhythm and the infradian rhythm of life Our hormone balancing really depends on our sleep and Wake cycles, the circadian rhythms and as women, we actually have another inbuilt hormonal cycle called the infradian rhythm, which is It's more connected to the hormonal cycle or the menstrual cycle for us.

And so if our sleep is interrupted or disrupted, it can really play havoc with our hormones. And there's a few master hormones that come into play and cortisol is a big one. And melatonin, but I've got a sleep masterclass actually inside the membership. If you're interested, you can go and check that out and listen to more.

But if you do struggle with your sleep, it can have a big knock on effect for your metabolic rate, your energy, your emotions. You might feel, very stressed out if you're not getting enough sleep. Remember, sleep is when the body heals and repairs itself. And so this could be putting a lot of knock on effect to how happy you feel and how healthy you feel.

So a really beautiful, simple tip is, first of all, just to make sure you're getting enough magnesium in your diet. We used to get it through food much more easily because our soils used to be rich in magnesium. But with the way that we're farming, this has been depleted. So things like replant Regenerative farming is something to be really mindful of.

Are you buying your food from sources that take care of this? So big shout out, I love using Riverfood. They're an organic veg box. Not sponsored by them, but I just wanted to share who I use because they are into their regenerative farming. And also we work with farmers in Peru where we source our cacao from.

Who also work in this way, so they're very conscious of the earth, the soil, but the humans that they're feeding as well. And so magnesium is really important because it has over 700 functions of the body, and particularly for muscle function and for sleep. And you can get magnesium through food sources, and bananas are rich in it, and ceremonial grade cacao.

We know a very good place to source it from, the Holistic Health Cacao. So that's a really good way to get magnesium. Get magnesium through your diet, but you can also get it through other means as well Which we'll go more into detail in our membership, but you can look at sleep hygiene as well You know thinking about your sleep routine I mean simple things for me like making sure the air quality in my room is really high by adding a few House plants, for example that can remove toxicity from the air But for women that we work with a lot through Mary, I always say Mary Penopause.

Because I'm trying to make it that for myself and also to support others doing that. The perimenopause, or years, and the menopause and beyond. We really want to be thinking about the temperature of the body, the core temperature. Often, night sweats can be a problem. And waking up, burning hot. So we need to be thinking about cooling our body down.

And you can do this through certain breath work. And also just thinking about materials on your body and what you're sleeping in. So synthetic materials might be creating toxicity through the skin. Increasing a toxic load and therefore your body's working quite hard at night to try and remove this.

You breathe out toxins through the air or through sweat, through the skin as well. So you want to be looking at natural materials. Ideally, Organic if you can, but let's go for it in perfect action here. So you want to be coming away from those synthetic bed sheets or from the, if you wear pajamas or nightwear, and thinking about upgrading them.

So this is a great moon cycle to commit to maybe up leveling your sleep hygiene. I think it's really exciting and important to mention that Pisces is the last astrological sign of the zodiac. And so i'm gonna ask how Could you take a sacred pause? at this point in the cycle, to integrate the learnings from the last astrological year.

And, of course, we work here in the Western world with the Gregorian calendar, so we go from January to January for our New Years. But doesn't it make more sense to kind of Finish at the end of February and start afresh the new year in March. Like when spring is coming, when new life is forming, when the buds are pushing up and just starting to peek their head into the world, doesn't this feel a little bit more natural?

And so it's really important, like I mentioned, just to see what did I learn last year? What's important? Where do I want to take my life this year? And how am I going to break that down into really small manageable steps? So thank you so much for listening. I hope that you enjoy that soul inquiry and take a moment to sit with that.

I'd also invite you just to sit with your health and check in, and with any of those tips that I've mentioned, maybe there's something else that there, is there for you with your sleep and increasing that, just to help with the hormonal balance. And also maybe taking some time with a conscious group of people with similar intentions to you.

And this is particularly important as we move into maybe the perimenopausal years and beyond. If you're a mumma, maybe it means your children are getting a little bit older and you may have slightly less responsibility, marginally, or more. And if you're not a mumma, like me, I'm just a fair baby mumma, That's very important to me.

It's about having that group of people around you that you feel like you're making a bigger impact in the world with because you have collective similar ideas and you feel like you're making more impact and moving forward towards I guess making a better world for yourself, your family, for your friends, your loved ones, and everyone on the planet.

And so if you'd like to join us in a conscious collective circle, the Holistic Health Circle is open for new members. And you can find the details on our website or below. So thank you so much for listening. Love to hear how you found that. And I'll see you for the next full moon. Thank you so much for listening to one of our first podcasts. We have wanted to get this going for So long. What we'd really appreciate in these early days of you listening is if you could take the time to give us a review, share your thoughts, give us a five star rating if you've absolutely loved this, or the other thing that you could do is just share this with someone else that you feel may benefit from it.

And just give it a few words on when you send it to the person why you feel that they would benefit from listening to it. Thank you so much for supporting us today and we can't wait to be back with you on our next episode.
